What’s a great moment in your team’s history that your fan base won’t admit was pure fluke?

A lot of people will bring up game moments, but I'll throw put something different: drafting Russell Wilson. a lot of made of John Schneider being a Wisconsin guy and a big RW fan going into the draft, and I'm not going to try and say he wasn't - I'm just going to point out that they had also just signed Matt Flynn to a significant free agent contract, and more than that, had also just a year before spent the same amount of draft capital - a 3rd round pick - to acquire Charlie Whitehurst.

So is John Schneider a genius for drafting Russell Wilson, or just a guy who got lucky for a player he seemingly had evaluated at a similar level to Charlie Whitehurst?
