What small change helped your career?

Instead of complaining and being angry about everything that was wrong or outdated. I changed my attitude and decided to do something about. I began submitting for updates and changes in my department. Although the updates were small. Going after the low hanging fruit eventually gave me a basket full of changes I was responsible for. At the end of my year review I had various items I could speak towards and got a big bump in pay. Now I’m apart of a different team and got another promotion. Don’t be that angry coworker who complains about everything, if it sucks do something about it. Plus it feels good knowing you helped the team succeed by getting tools updated they will use.
