What is something about dating that you have learnt this decade ?

Holy eff, yeah. I (and many of my friends) have stayed in relationships with partners who were so terribly wrong for us because people would say "he's so nice! You're just going through a rough patch! You know he didn't mean it."

One of the most valuable pieces of advice I've ever heard is "nothing needs to be wrong for it to not be right." You can always walk away without a reason.

I find that (in my friend circle at least), women will feel like they can FORCE it to work if they just hold out long enough. And to your point—you don't need to wait around for it to feel right, either. It's not our job to find "the best" in someone. Such a dangerous mentality to fall victim to.
