Yeap, in college I learned what kind of person was an acquaintance that's fun to hang out with, and what kind of person will be your ride or die homie. I mean I sometimes hangout with those acquaintance types, but my homies always come first. I always make sure they're okay, good to go, or comfortable, before doing shit for the other kind of people, and I know they would do the same for me. Those are the people that look out for you and make sure you make positive decisions in life, they call out your bullshit and look out for you even when you don't want them to.

I distinctly remember going to a frat party, and they kept pouring drinks down this one guys mouth because he would do wild shit and they would record it to have fun at his expense. Then when he was wasted throwing up in the sidewalk, no one even walked outside to check on him. That night I walked him home and made sure he didn't choke on his vomit. We've been close friends ever since.
