Women who moved somewhere you didn’t want to for love, how do you avoid resenting your partner?

My partner and I went through something very similar a few years ago. It was really hard to not resent him since things didn't turn out that great, but I understand his reasoning because on paper it seemed like a good opportunity for us. Also, I know if the situation was flipped he would have done the same for me too.

We ended up leaving our spontaneous move city too, the next one was very well thought out and somewhere that would benefit the both of us. I don't really blame him for that other move because I didn't HAVE to go with him. Plus we both matured a lot from the experience, like it was the right bad choice to make together at the time lol.
