I am [28F] who has recently been rejected by a [21M] and I keep wondering why

I don't really know what "too ghetto" means. Where I'm from, "ghetto" generally refers to trashy people of color that are uneducated, uncouth, and generally not well regarded by anyone.

If thats how you act, I guess do you, but I would think there would be a number of benefits to reducing the characterization of "ghetto" in your behavior, the least of which being dating prospects.

If you just mean that you use slang and aren't white, then, yeah, not much you can do about the second, and I dont feel like the first is a huge deal as long as you speak reasonably and can be understood.

Culture differences are a big deal in relationships, so if you feel like your life experiences and dispositions are just too different from your typical white guy's, thats your call.
