Analysing Good Play vs Bad Play : Decisiveness in CSGO

I don't think he picked great examples for that topic, it could have been a much more interesting video.

The first example of a bad play: Ok, he knew the guy was there because he heard him, still toke too long to decide where he would stay.

But the good play example... the smoke on the bomb was a great move (but not mind-blowing tbh), but the P250 kills I guess he probably over-analysed.

I mean, its easy to say that he made good decisions when he got the kills, but you can analyse the video from different perspectives. He could not have got the kill on kobe, then you could say "he should not have pushed, he should stay and try to kill Spartak, then went back to bombsite and covered". He decided to engage on Teknix even after spotted, so why not on Spartak? He was worried about someone on long, but after he killed Teknix, Spartak could simply kill him right after, then you could think "well, wouldn't be better if he ran out long and tried to surprise the guy there?".

I mean, that round had too much RNG, a mix of good kills, luck and mistakes from the enemies... but not a great example of "good decisions". Also, not engaging when low hp is not mind-blowing stuff at all.

Even tho I recognize he had a good game-sense and a good timming for peaks. But things like that you can't simply teach, because each round is different, each round has its own feeling, and only experience will make you understand the better moves to do on each situation, because theres endless of outcomes for each step you take.

When it comes to decisions, a lot of things in Counter-Strike can be considered both dumb or smart if you simply get the kills.
