Anyone else tired of possessive and late-paying parents?

I feel you. Keeping track of outstanding payments is mental clutter you don’t need. It’s really just a small simple thing to make someone feel respected. Indicative of larger issues about not respecting a childcare providers time and I really despise how common this theme is in our line of work

My current family has been late on payment five times so far, a day or two later than agreed upon payday per the contract. I know they’ll pay me but much like they reliably get paid on time from their employers, so should we. I only have two weeks left but if I didn’t I’d renegotiate payment options. I thought being paid via Venmo would be easier but I’d rather cash or check upon pick up at the end of the week — could you say something like that to them? Good luck!
