Apple reclaims title of most valuable brand by surpassing Google

I don't hate Apple. What I hate is brand name giving invisible value to the product. In developer world I found there are two types of people who opt for Apple PC's: web-related developers and apple related developers. Out of the two only one needs an Apple PC (the person who develops application for Apple products).

Setting that aside I have found nothing in Apple products that gives them value especially for what they are priced at.

I would understand if Apple actually built quality products and sold them at the price they sell them but they don't. Apple ships hardware and software at up to x5 inflated price, their hardware is usually outdated (even with top products), the PC's both notebooks & desktops are of very bad build quality, the internal design of most of Apple products seems to be built with overheating and dust collection in mind. They pale in performance by 10 categories of products of equal price. Their accessories like chargers, connectors, cables, mouses and keyboards are all very badly made I went over (2 keyboards in 10 month period).

I would not call Apple reliable if I wanted a reliable product I will go for Lenovos ThinkPad series tho even they have been slacking in last couple of generations.

It's also not easier to use iOS aside the OSX interface is much harder to grasp for new people than Windows.

Apple does have some good things that Windows and Linux lack OSX especially has some of the things that are best of the both worlds and some good services. And their products are usually more esthetically pleasing which what the Steve Jobs main initiative. Many people buy Apple products on basis that they look good and as a status symbol which is pretty stupid. I know a lot of people who should not invest their hard earned money into a 600$ phone and yet they do.
