I have 4 different varying difficulty brain puzzles that we used to use with good treats for mental stuff although she's mellowed out a ton now, and also when would give her food back then it would be in games too like tossing a kibble at a time in different directions or training by adding leave its to stop herself, honestly you know your dog best. I think this is something you could train but im not an authority on it so i guess it's also possible that your dog won't be ok with full access if they keep getting into things similar to how every dog isn't good for off leash or service animal training. Just gotta adjust to it all and find your happiness in there too. Goodluck!
