This cheap 3D-printed home is a start for the 1 billion who lack shelter - first model, scheduled to be unveiled in Austin today

you guys have no idea what youre talking about. they will use this house to do drugs and throw trash in. they WANT to be outside on the streets - that IS their home.

i am a security guard at one of the major hotels around the downtown area and deal with these people every single night. i am polite to them, and most are nice back. but they will manipulate anyone they can, sneak into the hotels, and steal stuff.

There home is the public bench, that is where they feel comfortable.

I can't wait to move from austin. If you dont get rid of the homeless people now, austin will go down in flames. No one wants to see a naked homeless guy spazzing out in the middle of the streets while walking down the street with their families.

but oh wait austin is "weird" and "hip". no, austin is just getting progressively dirty and grungy from all the transplants coming from LA. They ruined los angeles and now they're coming here and everyone has their vagina open for "muh tolerance". It's pathetic.

After dealing with them for over 2 years (dealing with over 400 homeless people), there are only two ways to get rid of them:

  1. Give them a bus ticket to San Francisco and force them to get on the greyhound
  2. A brave soul is going to have to go around and ...

But no, let's continue giving them money so they can take showers and piss and shit in public areas while we have to shield our kids from seeing these degenerate filth. But hey - we are just so weird and loving and open here am I right? I cannot wait to get out of this place.
