Cop yells “gun” when he clearly didn’t see a gun.

I think I heard eddie bravo once say that taking a couple months of bjj gives you an edge over 90 percent of the people out there, that may be a bit of a hyperbole, but since most people aren't bjj practitioners I would think it would help. Do you think a person needs 5-6 years of dedication to have some sort of benefit in the field, therefore not worth the investment? I'd argue that if they've had that mentality across the board, they would just not do anything at all. Why train in any self defense course if they aren't going to be a strong practitioner of it? I think we can all agree that It seems like a lot of cops don't know what they are doing when it comes to physical altercations and it seems they do need some kind of training in that regard. Not being combatitive here, and not necessarily disagreeing, but these are the thoughts that come up when reading your post and would like to hear you expand on your point.
