Cycle of Insomnia

Klonopins cause rebound anxiety, so you will feel worse than you actually normally would.

Relying only on klonopins to sleep is a shitty idea imo. You'll build up a tolerance and have to deal with coming off of them when you don't have them.

Idk what to tell you about the nightmares. I just went through it, I was on plenty of benzos but still had a psychotic episode from sleep deprivation and was put on tranquilizers. Going through trauma therapy was the only thing that I think helped with my dreams. I had to help my brain along to process it all so it would stop intruding into my dreams.

Do you have any grounding or self comfort lists, etc, etc, that you can use to help you relax? I've had to learn what works best for me. I use a wax burner and have a huge stash of different scents for it. I use a heating pad to lay with sometimes, I keep it under my leg or on my back and it's really relaxing. I keep a loud fan on pointed at the wall which drones out all sounds. I also have a cat which I think helped me the most...

I don't take any medication anymore. Only thing I take is high dose magnesium citrate, CBT, and benedryl and/or melatonin to sleep.
