You don't want to discourage people reading, do you?

I am a highly educated, generally otherwise component native English speaker who has to keep a list of words in my phone with how to pronounce them. I used to routinely go through and practice these words(not even all of them):

Aristocracy (air is TAH crow see) Dramatization (?) Theologian (?) OH Macabre mah cah bree Agitation (AH-GIH-tay-tun) (only when read off) Monarchy (mon-ARK-e) Anarchy (an-AR-KEY) Archive (ar-KIVE) Communist (cah-MUY-nist)... Only when read off Philosophy (fil-AH-sophie)... Only when read Philosopher (fil-AH-SO-fur)... Only when read Faux (foe) Horrible (HOR-ibble) Ambulance(am-BUO-lance) Monster (MOHN-ster) Crayon (CRAY-on) Strategic (stra-tea-gic) Salmon (SAE-mon) Assuage (?)

I don't know why/how I have this problem, but it can be incredibly humiliating for me. More than a few times I've really been bending a group's ears about some fascinating and complex topic, only to lose all credibility and respect by mispronouncing an absolutely common word. It's never jargon, always like basic words. The fear of doing this makes me pretty anxious sometimes
