During post game tirade, Michael Bennett asked local reporter Bill Wixey "What adversity you went through?!" Wixey is a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Can we stop pretending that anyone cares about reporters in football? They ask the most ridiculous, assanine questions, and are "truly shocked" when shit like this happens.

"You guys didn't get pressure on Ryan today"

"Coach your teams down 35 points at the half, what do you need to do moving forward?"

"Coach, your team lost, moments ago, please, tell us how it feels!"

The answers are either generic and rehearsed or sarcastic, or real - emotional and angry. When it's the former, reporters get upset because "you're making our jobs haaaaaard," when it's the latter, they bitch because "you're a millionaire athlete, you're problems don't matter as much as our problems - you can't get upset when people annoy you, just us normal people."

So yea, fuck Micheal Bennett for being an asshole (trying to gouge eyes and rip helmets off, even for the rant, whatever), but fuck that reporter too. Just because he had cancer doesn't mean he can't suck at his job. That question was terrible, and he wouldn't have liked it if Bennett would have said "yea, we really sucked at getting pressure today, huh."

The dude that posted this on twitter is also a cunt, because he is just trying to manufacture controversy so we can keep feeding our non-stop 24 hour news cycles.
