Well it's going to be a WoW story again.

I don't remember the year but I was in to farming vanity pets long long before it became a thing. I only say that in the sense that there really wasn't many people in to it at the time, so farming it usually went peacefully.

Anyway, I was going for a Black Whelp thingy, little baby drake or something. I would do it any time I had spare time in game so I wasn't there on a repeatable schedule.

So I was a mage for easier farming and then on my second day or so this rogue shows up. Of course he proceeds to mop the floor with me, I've never been good at PvP so even if I had a chance, it wasn't going to happen (I just can't stay calm, I lose my place on the keyboard and freak out hitting the right keys at the right times).

Pretty normal so far, well then it gets a bit odd. After a few kills I realise he's not even farming the whelps, just trolling me a bit. Still, that's fair enough. I decide to stay dead for an hour and come back later.

Well he waited it out, I res up and kill a few whelps, he noticed I took a break and he took one too, I assume checking back every so often. Still I could usually get a few kills in here and there, his attention didn't seem to 100% focused on killing me. So it went on like this the whole time I was farming, eventually it was time to raid and I gestured at the rogue (as he was killing me), trying to imply, "Yeah you got me man, nice trolling".

Then it got a little creepy in his dedication to troll me. Every single time I went back out there, every time, for a solid week. He'd be there, the timing wasn't exact, it was like he was on patrol and I was one of many people in the area he was scouting out. But within 10-15mins of starting, he would always appear.

Unlike the first day, I tried to make it as boring as possible, trying to give him no satisfaction in the kill. Essentially just ressing up, standing still and letting him kill me over and over. But alas, he had a serious lust for fucking me up.

I only kept it up because I was still managing to kill mobs in between and it all ended because my whelp did drop. So I left and never returned, I still think to this day, he might be waiting it out. I'll login after 6-7yrs of having not gone there, kill a whelp and then a rogue will slink out from under his cloak.

tl;dr: Rogue harassed me for a long time.
