Now this isn't justifying or saying it isn't awful.

But as a US President Obama has directly and indirectly caused less civilian deaths then the majority of other presidents.

The entire drone war has killed 4500 people, under Obama it's about 3000 both civilians and combatants and that is all over 15+ years

In 8 months of Russian airstrikes in Syria they have killed 3000 civilians, in the same time the entire american lead coalition has killed around 600 civilians.

Couple in a few other thousand from various other air raids during the Obama presidency all across the world, It's been roughly 10,000-15,000 civilians, mostly in Iraq and Afghanistan and those are wars he didn't start.

Now for perspective over the last 15 years 3 million civilians have died from war, there have been 60 wars since 2000,

Under Obama, yes civilians are dying, but it's been a lot less then any other recent US president, some are responsible for millions of deaths, he's really far down the list for the most civilians dying under a US presidency.

You have to go back a very long time to have a president who isn't responsible for at the very least tens of thousands of civilian deaths.
