We HAVEN'T won Nevada YET

Yep, I was annoyed by the Bernie Bro thing because it was contrived by cherrypicking a few awful tweets etc from a tiny unrepresentative minority (in fact many are not actually even Sanders supporters and it only takes a moment to figure that out with a lot of them). I think there are people that have felt progressive and self-righteous for years who are now being challenged from the left for the first time and they really don't like it. They know it's difficult to claim Sanders himself is less progressive than HC, so they had to resort to meta arguments about how bad his followers are (although many also seem to be obsessed with parsing Sanders' speech & body language for indications of hidden racism and misogyny). They (the media class) propagated this Bernie Bro narrative because it was a convenient way of dismissing the movement and since then it's just been reiterated over and over again by those who never had any genuine intention of finding out what Sanders' supporters views actually are.

And of course that there are also plenty of Hillary supporters who are just as irritating and vacuous online and I've seen more than a few outright racist and/or anti-semitic tweets from those who appear to be genuine HC supporters. It should be obvious to anyone without an agenda that neither side has a monopoly on morons, and it's wrong to judge political movements with millions of supporters based on the actions of a tiny minority. Anyway, I think, regardless of the online stuff, most Hillary supporters are likely decent, smart people capable of independent thought who just want the best for themselves and their families. Beginning on that basis and stressing the qualities of Bernie rather than the deficiencies of Hillary* is probably going to be a better way of winning people over than starting with the idea that they're all morons. lol.

*I know this is difficult but once you're invested in a candidate it's easy to ignore a lot of problematic stuff that others can see with the benefit of distance. So it's probably better to go with a more positive argument for Bernie rather than against Hillary, I think.
