Yeah, I was worried about that haha. I've only been in two relationships, both were long term (one a year and the second 3.5), and both men asked me to be their girlfriend in under a month. I definitely don't want to create a problem! And you're right. I guess I just wasn't sure if it was a real joke, or if he was being honest and I didn't want to ask him for fear that in my current panicky state of mind, I would overreact.
