how am i supposed to live happily?

1/2 Regarding science:

Hi. You mentioned evidence. But all those about astral projections being hallucinations and brain creates consciousness there's no evidence. It's simply your interpretation of the results of these studies.

Let me explain them:

science is simply our understanding of the universe, and a lot of things can be explained with logical reasoning

Yes, science is *supposed* to be that. But mainstream science has a philosophical materialism bias. It's so strong that some scientists split off and created the "Manifesto for a post-materialist science". There's another scientist who wrote a book called "Why Materialism is Baloney". True science isn't really about metaphysics and the nature of reality, it mostly deals with correlations between different observable things. It can't make claims for their absolute nature. That's what philosophy is for.

people who claim to have "out-of-body" experiences (such as remote viewing, astral projection, near-death experiences, etc.) but these have all been proven as hallucinations through various studies.

No, they haven't. All they have shown is that the same areas of the brain are activated during them as hallucination. Remember: correlation#causation. That's an important thing that many scientists disregard. Also there's a tendency to simply dismiss hallucinations. I don't believe many hallucinations are hallucinations at all. More studies are needed. Also, the fact that most OBE's can't be verified doesn't prove that they are hallucinations either. It's the materialistic assumption that the only world there is is the one we live now. There *could* be higher astral realms, you know?

not a single case of out-of-body experiences has been proven real and not a figment of one's imagination.

Yes, it has been. Charles Tart had a studied a case where a girl successfully read a hidden five digit number during an OBE. It's described here:

As for consciousness being independent of the brain, see Eben Alexander's case. He is a Neuroscientist and had a very extraordinary NDE which he wouldn't even explain himself.

There's also Michael Newton, a hypnotherapist who regressed his subjects to past lives and after death and most of the things they reported agreed with eachother. There were no major contradictions that were suggesting that they were made up, and he was an expert in recognizing fantasy from actual experiences. He wrote two books with details of what happens after death and during incarnations.

Anyway, there's much more evidence I could provide. I too value reason and logic, but I've found mainstream science is just like a religion where scientists are afraid of reporting things that contradict the mainstream narrative in fear of losing their jobs. Science # the mainstream establishment. The scientific establishment is beyond corrupt.

But yeah in spirituality though we believe our intuition is important. If that isn't your thing then you won't find much here. There are many things our logic can't explain.

There's also nothing wrong with being a skeptic. But don't expect too many people to answer your questions the way you like here. It's mostly believers here. Honestly, in my personal opinion I don't even care if many things are right or wrong. I'm interested in learning new theories and expanding my mind, even if there's no evidence for them. Everything could be possible.
