i looked at the post you linked to and i don't understand how your comment was relevant. i mean, the post was about including some racist incident from 1959 in school curriculum. where does it say all white people are racist? and anyway back then, 1959, by today's standards, white people were mostly if not all racist. Not necessarily in a hateful way but it was just the belief system at the time. Same with homophobic. Having said that, as a white person who lived with a (black) Jamaican for 15 years and with many black friends I would not get involved in these types of conversations at all. not saying you deserved to be banned but its sort of a no win situation. i stopped paying much attention to black twitter long ago. its not funny frequently enough.
