This makes me sad but at the same time happy the lion was not captured an put in a zoo. He lived his entire life in the wild I’m only right he pass there too.

I have seen animals that were born in the wild be taken to zoos and at least for the predators the light slowly dies in their eyes as if they are longing for there home ranges rather then fences and cement walls.

Don’t get me wrong A lot of zoos Do very good job Of taking care of their animals And giving them Large enclosures to run and Inhabit. I just think that a lot of animals lack Mental engagement in zoos and for larger predators it’s more like being bored to death rather than a life of luxury. Zoo are amazing You just have to make sure all aspects of the animals health Are taken into account. Predators need to hunt Not just be hand fed.
