LPT: When stressing over something, use the 10-10-10 rule. Will it matter in 10 days? 10 months? 10 years? After getting some perspective, you’ll notice how very few things end up worth stressing over.

I was single for 6 years before remeeting the guy Ive been with for two and a half years now. I was single from age 30 til 36. I took care of myself (i got sick), my dying father, friends, and dated. Im so glad dating wasn't my sole focus because the current dating envrionment is brutal. So I was glad to have others in my life be important and not focus on being with just anyone to avoid being lonely (I had no time to be lonely lol) and found someone who was good for me.

If you're healthy, if you get out of the house some and meet people to make new friends and those friends will lead to good things. Be choosy. Trust your gut. Talk about EVERYTHING important before you commit.

People will suck, be flaky, but just act with integrity and expect it back.
