I can think of a handful of breeds besides pit bulls that this could happen with easily, working bloodlines of Malinois, GSD, Doberman, Rotweiller, Giant Schnauzer, Kangals and a few other herding and livestock guardian type breeds.

It happens more often with pit bulls because they are too commonly owned and yes they are just that bit more dangerous and have insane type of fight gaminess that average people truly can't comprehend until experienced.

What all those other breeds have in common is it is rare to find those bloodlines just commonly available for a few hundred bucks off craigslist or rotting in the local SPCA which typically keeps them in the hands of responsible breeders as gatekeepers of who gets to own them.

Anyways pit bulls ain't the scariest breed of dog by a long shot if you're actually a dog trainer and that's why I don't want people banning pit bulls because you'll come for my breeds next.
