[META] Can I ask you guys some questions for my research paper?

What does your diet consist of now?

I start the day with half a kilo of yoghurt, kiwis and something that resembles whole grain cereal, comes down to about 1k calories.

throughout the day I eat more kiwis, dried sausage and nuts, which is usually around 200-400 calories.

for lunch it's a sandwich (low-carb bread with cheese, ham, tomato, cucumber, cheese, lettuce and egg) comes down to about 500.

for dinner I eat whatever I want, usually around 1k calories, my favourites are beef chimichurri, lasagne or some kind of wraps.

if I'm still hungry after that I'll throw in a deep-freeze pizza in the evening, most brands are around 1-1,5k calories.

with this, keep in mind that I'm 6'3+ feet tall and have physically demanding work 5 days a week and train for an hour a day.

How much weight have you lost?

I've lost 40+ lbs and gained 22+ lbs this year.

What foods do you think were the main cause of your original weight gain?

alcohol, I've quit drinking it completely.

Do you have any conditions, and/or do you take any medication that many blame for weight gain?

medications influence your TDEE or BMR, they don't cause weight-gain on their own.

you still need to consume more than you burn for that.

If you could recommend one thing to cut from the diet of the person reading this article, what would it be?

liquid calories as a whole.
