Millennials just can't catch a break

It doesn't matter what my degrees are in, people always find some way to criticize. Biology? "Biology is the worst science to go into right now, are you stupid?" Chemistry? "Why didn't you do chemical engineering instead?" Physics? "Learn some real-world skills ofc you can't find work."

There is no sense trying to argue. If you really want to know, they're in Neuroscience.

Yes, I made some mistakes with respect to going to university, I admit that. But I'm not going to pretend like I wasn't pushed in this direction by well-meaning but otherwise wrong people. If everyone you trust (teachers, guidance counsellors, parents, friends) are telling you to do something or you'll be screwed for life, and you're some dumb 17 year old kid trying to start out, is it 100% on you if you get to the other side and find out it's all bullshit? Maybe a majority, maybe 80%, but not 100%. It's still happening to lots of impressionable youth and it needs to stop. Post-secondary used to be a ticket to success but unless you're in CS, Engineering, or Medicine now (and not everyone is suited for it) there is no traditional career path anymore in Canada.
