Dude .. Non-modern dating was same shit .. You'd go to a bar or a club where men outnumbered women at least 3 to 1 .. Then you'd watch as the girls would dissappear with guys hotter than you and your entire strategy was that that final not particularly attractive girl left around closing time would take pity on your and not one of the other 20 guys left.
A 5/10 girl has always been able to get laid by a 7-8/10 guys, so 5/10 guys always struggled. The thing is at some point we near 30 and time becomes precious and that is where 5/10s looks similar in the eye and start families.
