I find this an interesting concept.

I was in a relationship for a while. Towards the end, things went south. She actually decided to 'lay hands' first. It was an all around shitty situation but eventually it came to an end, we put it behind us, went our separate ways and that was that.

I came to find out later that she told people that she had been in an 'abusive relationship', which was pretty awful since there was some acrimony, but it was definitely a two way street. Stuff you'd expect. In an argument where both of us hot heated, she'd present it after the fact to people in our social circle as though she were 'being abused'.

In short, I can absolutely see this becoming a 'bad breakup free moving service'. I realize that people want issues like this to be cut and dry where neat mantras sum up the way things are but the end of relationships can be incredibly messy and complicated and offering someone a valuable service for nothing more than a willingness to say they were 'abused' (honestly, a totally nebulous concept once you get outside of the obvious stuff), well, lets just say it's not hard to envision how some people of lower integrity will respond to this.

I'm sure this company is going to be doing an AWFUL LOT of free moving for people 'looking to leave an abusive partner' who can probably convince themselves that they were 'abused' and would have no problem telling the free abuse moving company that, either.
