My 3 year old son throws embarrassing public tantrums -- help!

Well the purpose of the stroller isn't to make him dislike it. It is a preventative measure.

I don't discipline really so my tactics might not jive with you.

I prefer providing appropriate actions. If he is throwing things, you can give him something like a ball. My only rule with a ball is to throw it at the ground. Best for home use and not during a full on tantrum of course.

Sometimes my son will hit for attention. Since it's pretty rare, we don't always timeout for that. Depending on why he is hitting, like for attention, we might say something like, "dada doesn't like to be hit. Dada likes hugs. Can you give dada a hug?"

I know it's harder in public and that's why our go-to is timeouts and bribery.
