Let me try again then, and make a fairer comparison, because you're right.

When I watched the sex scenes in Deadpool, it was okay because it wasn't focusing on the sex, it was framing their type of relationship with the sex. In GoT, Oberyn was making out with and banging a dude, which I was okay with watching because it supplemented his character and wasn't really the focus of the scene, just character development and humor.

However one of my favorite movies, Mr. Nobody, has a fuckload of sex scenes. Even though it's one of my favorites, I sit through the scenes just thinking "come on, that's a bit much." Half the time I skip them because I don't want to watch a 10 minute long dramatization of 15 year olds banging. I don't want to watch 5 minutes of 2 guys going at it either. I'm not turned on by gay sex, I'm not particularly interested in it, and the scene is just 2 dudes jerking off. Regardless of the context, I don't wanna watch 5 minutes of sex, especially sex that I'm not even interested in. Especially if the sex could just be a minute or 2 to show you what's going on, then moving on.
