A petty moment of vindication again an AM that really gets on my nerves

To be honest it just sounds like the AM isn’t really familiar with the process (which most AMs aren’t familiar with the T1 process) & was skeptical of you; so he took action in addressing the issue by following along with you to teach you how it’s done. The AM did the right thing & picked the best course of action to address the issue.

No offense but no one has or prolly is going to 100% trust you if they don’t know you. It’s always better to show than trying to tell. Most Managers aren’t going to either A) understand what you’re trying to say, or B) still have that doubt in the back of their head.

In all, I applause the AM for taking action to correct it because at the end of the day you’ll never know 100% if an associate or anyone is telling the truth or lying until you look into it.
