These people are right to protest. Trump won by running a fact free, policy free, racist, bigoted campaign that appealed to the rubes of this country to stand up and be proud of the fact that they are dumb as rocks. If you voted for trump solely for the fact that you didn't like Hillary because Fox News told you to hate her, than you deserve to be left behind.

The term middle class white america is basically synonymous with hatred, ignorance, and blind hatred of anyone smarter than they are. In major part this is due to a failure of the education system in the United States. If you look at the electoral map almost all big city college centers voted democrat, but all the rural areas which cover like 90% of the map of each state voted overwhelmingly Trump. These people have been left behind, but let's be honest, they did nothing to help themselves improve their standards of living. Peddling the same faux conservative bullshit their Fox News overlords have been suggesting to them for years.
