Very HL, but in the instances I have been utterly turned off by a man, as in, dry and angry as all hell— it’s been related to character issues.

• Negging
• Rough sex suddenly being an excuse to hit my face as hard as physically possible
• A refusal to commit
• When it they’re hiding something and despite your best efforts to ignore it or convince yourself, you know it’s there
• Lying and fudging the truth
• Emotional absence or laziness
• Only viewing me as a one-dimensional sexual being and not as a complete person with vulnerabilities, hopes, losses, dreams, etc.
• Bringing up anything sexual related to your ex. “Oh my ex liked that, my ex liked that a lot— I remember this one time ” .....Did sheeee? Tell me more!
  
• When deep-seated misogynistic beliefs surface, and I say this as someone more conservative
• When it gets obvious they’re keeping you a secret from friends, family

When you slowly realize the person you’re with is a piece of shit, or well on their way to becoming one, it’s no fun.
