And again, you're going back to this idea that Trump might, possibly, with some shred of possibility be convicted by the Senate on an impeachment charge.

I have to ask what impeachment charge you're imagining here?

Because obstruction of justice has already been tried in the court of public opinion - there isn't a chance the Republican Senate might possibly convict him of that.
