Rant Wednesday

See, that's where my rant is directed. Often times people are so buried in their screens that they don't see my trying to get their attention. And I'm not going to touch you to break you away from your precious device. I've got not problem asking people to work in while they are resting. I do it daily. However, if I have to ask you more than once, it's annoying and frustrating. And if I have to ask you, there are others that do too because it's gym rush hour and you are on popular equipment. I've seen a guy sit in a leg press for over 10 minutes in between sets playing on his phone. I walked behind him and he's sending text messages. 3 other people were waiting to use the leg presses, there are only two. It took him no less than 35 minutes to do three sets of 6 reps with only 2 plates on each side. That is bullshit. I finished half my workout while he was playing on his phone doing one exercise. We go to the gym to work out, not to play on our phones. And we shouldn't have to remind you that other people exist and need to use the equipment. It's annoying to ask multiple times and some of us just don't want to deal with strangers when we are trying to workout.
