Republicans shout down and boo Black colleagues who speak about discrimination on House floor

This is the article I was basing it on.

It literally says in the first two paragraphs.

Outrage has grown at Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, as the school faces layoffs and increased class sizes due to a law limiting funds for schools with a higher white student body.

Literally, getting less money because the white student body is too big. If i'm somehow misunderstanding this please let me know.

the school district only has a set amount of money. if you don't like the corrections for equality, then next time advocate to get increased funding into the district for black and brown schools and don't be complicit with thinking it's okay to continue getting more money because you're white.

I mean, I've been pretty open with agreeing with this. School funding, which is generally based on property taxes in the district, and race plays a big part in that, needs to fucking change. I personally would like to see the funding controlled by the State, I think that would help get better funding(which means better schools, better staff, and better educated students) in less wealthy areas.
