Sold a shitload of burgers tonight. We had a $5 special on to celebrate the company’s 10th birthday. The grill was full like this for hours.

This is INCREDIBLY common in the industry. This is me just thinking out loud, but we work really hard. Long hours, always on our feet, constantly moving. We're tired. And those who work the hardest are kind of put on a pedestal. When you've just pulled x number of days in a row, working x hour days, and you hear someone who has not worked as long as you complaining about being stressed or overworked, it is frustrating. To say the least. So some people lash out. But cooking attracts all sorts of personalities. Some are volatile while others are quiet. Much the same as any other industry.

Sorry I closed the bar on my Friday after a long week and I'm high. But I'm sure it wasn't as long as yours.
