Sources: Patriots fear lengthy suspension for Brady

How do you define it?

As Brady's agent did. If you have any real proof that he was lying, I'd love to see it.

If you can cite where I said Brady broke a rule I'd appreciate it.

No one ever tried to claim he did.

A strawman is a sham argument set up to be defeated. That's exactly what you did, set up a sham argument set up to be defeated. A metaphor is a figure of speech that identifies something as being the same as some unrelated thing for rhetorical effect, thus highlighting the similarities between the two. Life is a box of chocolates is a metaphor. What you created was a strawman.

Alright, so I'm not surprised I have to educate a Packers fan and explain simple concepts.

Brady cooperated with the actual rules of the investigation. He did everything he was asked to except for bending to an obvious overreach of power. If you think that Brady isn't allowed to draw the line somewhere, I don't know what to tell you. Without a line of some sort, literally anything can be interpreted as not cooperating, no matter how ridiculous the request, for which I used a figure of speech. So your argument is starting from false logic in the first place.

Oh, and concerning that figure of speech, I'm demonstrating the concept of my own argument. That's not a strawman, which I'm glad to see remains the most inappropriately cited fallacy by redditors trying to appear smart. Oh, and if you still don't believe me, you yourself said a figure of speech is a metaphor. So which one is it? But then again, I probably shouldn't take the word of someone who thinks "life is like a box of chocolates" is a metaphor, not an analogy.
