Sources: #Seahawks S Kam Chancellor wants more money, has told Seattle that he’s strongly considering a camp holdout to make it happen.

I just don't really care. I love Kam, he is the best SS in the League, but he is making top 3 SS money.

Fact is the Owners got a huge win in the new CBA with the fine for skipping Training Camp practices being $30k a practice. Fact is any idiot could tell you that the Seahawks won't even sit at the table let alone touch your contract with so many years left on it unless your name is Beastmode and you account for 80% of the Offense. (Even then money was just moved around and guarantees added).

If I was JS i wouldn't do a thing about Bennett and Chancellor, let them hold out and get fined, do not forgive their fines when they finally do show up, and get deals done with Wagner and Russ. Maybe after 2015's season is done you look at the cap and see if you can give them some more money so they will be happy, only if they have been through enough of their contract.

I also would send out a letter to all my players agents detailing to them why I went to the table and did what i did with Marshawn, and how their player (while great and maybe the best at their position in the NFL) isn't Beastmode. Even though Beastmode isn't better than AP, he is the life-blood of this team, he is so much of this teams offense, he is a big reason why we have been consistent contenders. 1,000 yards and 10 TD's minimum every single year, that's huge. So while we might love the player you represent, and while its true he might be underpaid compared to what he is worth as a FA, thinking Marshawn's contract negotiation opened the door for anyone else to come in and hold out for more $ is ridiculous. When he threatened to retire if he wasn't paid more, it was believable. There is no threat to retire from any of our players that we would believe. Bennett, Kam, etc...will not be retiring any time soon.
