Spain passes law allowing children 16 and over to change legally registered gender without medical supervision

I remember getting arrested protesting for children's rights in the US 20+ years ago.

I would organize protests past curfew, protesting the curfew and my defense was since I was protesting the curfew didn't apply and was unconstitutional.

I'd hand out flyers for cannabis legalization in high school. I'd hold rallys at my high school to raise awareness about regarding the lack of autonomy children had. How much like second class citizens they are in the eyes of the law. Even under the Constitution.

Never thought I'd see things like this so quickly. I realize this is Spain but there's sweeping social change in the US.

I don't know if it's for the better, worse or what. I really don't. But I know we fought and things changed. Things keep changing.

If I had one wish it would be that more people chose to vote and chose to run for local government offices.
