[Spoilers All] He says what we are all thinking!

I'm kind of glad that the books are switching things up. I don't read the books, but I couldn't stop read character summaries in asoiaf website once I discovered. Then I pretty much spoiled the entirety of season 4 which was a bummer, except for the deviations. But this season, I've restrained myself from reading anymore spoilers (even though I know most of the major plot points already, smh).

So, with this whole new direction, I get to be caught off surprise. Like certain deaths, certain marriage proposals and merging of characters. Apparently many story lines seem to be cut like Young Griff, Euron Greyjoy, Lady Stoneheart and a bunch more.

So let's see how D&D plan to finish out the show. Would the ending be different? Since, GRRM may have changed his mind on certain plot points, but I'm sure some major themes are being kept. That allows artistic and literary freedom to D&D in a way. So that'll be cool. If I ever bother to read the books after the show is all said and done. I'd get a second set of weeping fits when another set of characters are killed off.

Seriously, I was really really rooting for Ned. There he was, about to get executed and I was like "He can get killed, he's the star... someone is going to come and save the day!" I thought ... head chopped off (a rude awakening of what Game of Thrones was going to be). Alrighty then, Ned Jr (Robb) it is. He'll be my new fav character. He's young and a badass military commander at a very young age ... head chopped off. Fuck. ALRIGHT! Oberyn Martell! He's cool, badass fighter, a prince and says fuck you to social convention ... HEAD EXPLODED!!! ALRIGHTY FUCKEN THEN! JON FUCKING SNOW! Sweet, he Stannis offered him to be a Stark. Rejected it. OK, ok, he's now Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. ... got too impatient and read the wiki ... sigh.
