SPOILERS: Midnight Club was Mike Flanagan at his absolute worst.

I just got to episode 7, which was very well done, and I've heard it didn't stick the landing [I don't mind spoilers].

But I've honestly liked what I've seen for the most part. I was not a fan of Bly Manor and I still need to finish Midnight Mass, both of which fell too far into maudlin and monologue territory for me. Hill House did the same, but it only hurt the final two episodes.

End of the day, Midnight Club was made for young adults and I can see why. Not gonna hate on it just because I find some parts too oversentimental. But I do agree that the protagonist is probably the worst part of the show, which is on the writer and not the actress.
