Humour is subjective. What one person finds funny, another finds offensive.

Best way to find out if y'all are gonna get along is open with shit you find funny. If they don't find it funny, y'all weren't ever gonna get along.

Plus OPs humour is the kinda humour that's making fun out of the situation. People DO go on Tinder to be inside of people and they DO hire coaches. By taking the piss out of it, it calls out the elephant in the room.

My current GF and I met by us joking about Italians liking pizza and having sex, at the same time. She's Italian. She found it hilarious. Even with the same body language and same tone of voice, I'm sure another Italian would have found that very offensive and walked away. The only way to find out if you're going to get along is by being yourself.
