THE SURGE - A Soulslike With Power Loaders (Jim Sterling)

He really hated it

I don't know, I really really really REALLY, I mean REALLY hate Uncharted, can I work for an outlet that gets on Metacritic, use a 100 point scale and then give it a 1/100 because I dislike it that much? Would you defend me because that is my opinion and I can rate things off how much enjoyment I get from it, even though that 1/100 is going to hurt the overall Metacritic average and depending on how the weights work, would potentially be enough to take Uncharted 4 from the 93 to a 92 or maybe even a 91? What if Naughty Dog had a deal where they get a bonus if it scores a 90 average, something 1 and the collection failed to do and my score could've potentially ruined it for Uncharted 3, just because some YouTuber didn't love the game, would you be like "well, they should've made the game appeal more to Admiralvic!"

Do you see what I'm getting at? Rating games off enjoyment is fine, to a degree, but it can be an extreme system and make the usefulness pretty low.
