Transgenderism is a mental contagion

Yeah I read that post. I guess I'm just skeptical that the results of that survey might be biased towards telling trans people what they want to hear. When I've seen similar questions asked in more general forums, people say they don't really care about their gender very much and don't "feel" like their birth gender. My hunch is that most people are cis by default, and would be able to adapt to living as the opposite gender. I also think most of the people responding to that asktg thread were AFAB, and I think most AFAB's do genuinely like being female to some extent, whereas most AMAB's are at most neutral about it.

My therapist isn't helping that much. She doesn't really know anything about trans related stuff, so I've had to explain it all to her, but I've mostly given her the traditional trans narrative and not my nihilistic viewpoint. The reason she doesn't think I should transition is that I've expressed a lot of doubt, and blatantly said that I don't feel like a woman, but that I feel like a man who wants a female body.
