When i was 17 i ran away from him because i couldnt stand my parents either. I just said fuck it, i can do it on my own. Now at 24 i wish i stuck it out, focused on school, didnt do drugs/drink, didnt get a boyfriend, and then at 18 went to college. You cant let other people, family friends or strangers, bring you down in life. Life gets much harder as you get older. You need to make smart choices. Adapt and overcome. I think you should absolutely quit the weed and try the medication. It wont be forever. Be brave and put yourself first. Your future self will be thankful! Focus on success, you have plenty of time for fun. Im sorry to hear about your dad being deported, im sure it’s difficult but you cant let it affect your future.
