So, here's a weird thing.

Yesterday at the same time you were making this post, I was hiking on the AT like I do most afternoons. As is my custom, I like to have a couple tokes at the start of my hike. This is in a state where that's not exactly legal, so I'm careful to be covert.

I usually do about a mile and a half, turn around and hike back. So, yesterday, just about at the turn-back spot, for the first time in the twenty years that I've been hiking this section, I come upon a state police officer in tactical gear standing on the trail talking on a cell phone. She has on a POLICE t-shirt, jack boots, her weapons, and a small red day-pack.

Totally startled me, freaked me out a little. My husband and I walk past her aways and start theorizing as to why she would have been there. As there's no sign of anyone else around, or anything going on that we can discern, my (albeit slightly stoned) explanation is must've been a "glitch in my Truman show."

We proceed to have a ten minute discussion about creating a subreddit called "GlitchinmyTrumanShow" and whether people would "get" the crossover, whether that phenomena happens to other people or are we just nuts?, and whether the term "glitch" is specific to the Matrix.
