We have massively drawn down our service members over the last 30 years. We are approaching a military of half the size within a few years.

Of the current 1.3m service members about 43% of them are people of color. That would leave America with an army of about 740k troops total.

China has over 2 million active troops.
India has 1.5 million
North Korea has 1.3 million
Russia has 900 thousand
Russia & North Korea combined would be a force of 2.2 million troops
Even Iran and Pakistan would almost have equivalent sized armies.

There is no way these actors will stand by and watch as we destroy each other as some people are promoting. As soon as there is chaos they will become a threat at a level I'd argue we have not faced before in history. We cannot allow a divided US to put us at this kind of risk. Trump is actively fanning the flames while simultaneously leaving us exposed by not participating in transitioning and by lying to his base about a fair election. He wants this to happen because it's the only scenario where he has a chance to avoid legal accountability. He will watch Americans lose.
