Trump: 'I won the popular vote if you deduct' illegal votes

Thanks for providing the text of this bill, I upvoted and certainly there are ways this could be abused, but it seems like your assertion that illegals will be allowed to vote relies largely on an assumption that the democratic Secretary of State will be dishonest. The burden of auditing is placed on the Secretary of State, so if you believe that he or she is an honest actor then I assume you won't think illegals will vote but if you think the SoS will be dishonest you think illegals will vote in large numbers.

I will note that getting a drivers license in California is hard, with several documents of verification necessary, and it's harder than in New Jersey, but I'm not sure about logistics for illegal immigrants.

It seems like in general democrats side on growing the franchise to allow the most people to vote even if there may be isolated cases of fraud while republicans tend to want to shrink the franchise to eliminate any fraud.

I just don't agree that the existence of this bill is proof that a mass of illegal immigrants voted, as just because it allows an avenue doesn't mean that it's being taken advantage of in large numbers.

Personally I see voting as a right and not a privilege so I morally think that any legislation that can make it harder for people who deserve to have a say is very sickening to me. Won't get into voter ID though because I'd be arguing a strawman.
