Under what circumstances would you try to get back with your ex?

I’m gonna delete this comment in about 10 minutes because of reasons, I love my wife to death, but if something ever happened to heard, after a grieving period I would probably get back together with my ex. We never really broke up because we hated eachother, we just moved apart and fell off, the feelings we’re strong but by the time we met again we had both moved on and found other people. I still think about her every now and again, but not in a loving kind of way, more of a nostalgia feeling. I’d never leave or cheat on my wife, but if she died I would probably move on with my ex

I know I’ll get downvotes but I love my wife more than anything but sometimes feeling linger.
